Did your NYSC discharge certificate get missing or stolen? Here are the right steps to follow so as to on the safe side.

In the case of loss of your discharge certificate, the following steps are to be taken by the affected ex corps member.

• Get a Police Extract/Report

• Get a Court Affidavit

• Get a Letter of Introduction from where the Ex-Corps member is discharged i.e. State of Service

• If possible a copy of the lost Certificate

Do I get a new NYSC discharge certificate after loss of the original?

No…its a big NO

It is the policy of the Scheme not to reprint lost or burnt Certificates. Letters of Confirmation are issued to the affected ex corps member instead. If you followed the above steps, you should be fine.
